Art Exhibit at Blue Marlin Mexican Grill
The night of April 15, 2011 The Blue Marlin Mexican Grill transformed into an art gallery displaying artist Jacques Ouellet's series of paintings. The conept of the paintings are the unseen waves eminating from all things that affect us. The bright colors and unique perspective was well recieved and added a touch of class to the evening. Jacques next exhibit will be at the tourism office in San Juan del Sur next month. Dont miss this talented artist and photographer now living in San Juan del Sur.

This Saturday
This Saturday the winner and former winners of Miss Canada visited San Juan del Sur. Besides seeing the beaches and having some pool fun they had a delicious seafood meal at restaurant El Timon. The girls loved the town and felt very welcomed. They will be touring other places in Nicaragua while getting to know the country.

Summer is here!
The streets were full on Sunday as the beginning of summer was celebrated with a free outdoor concert. Claro set the stage for the band “La Nueva Compañia” and other acts that entertained all day as kids played in the air castle on the beach and others ate and drank in roadside restaurants. The day was beautiful and the crowd was happy making it a great summer party. This is the start of the spring break (semana santa) madness which comes to town in two weeks.
